Hardeman Science Hat Parade '09
Each school year Hardeman Elementary celebrates Halloween by having a Science Hat Parade. Each child is given a science related vocabulary word and instructed to fashion a hat representing that word. This is what we came up with for the word Energy - a ginormous sun - you could see Raistlyn coming down the hall from a distance with her giant spikey sun

Celebrating My Birthday in Fabulous Fall Fashion
My birthday just so happened to fall on a beautiful Friday this year so I pulled the girls out of school a bit early and headed out for some Fall Fun. We took Raistlyn's BFF Mikayla to Build-a-Bear Workshop to celebrate her 9th birthday. They picked out such cute animals - I couldn't believe that Caiden picked the Turkey - he's got such a cute personality!
